After getting married, becoming a parental, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years in less than 3 months, I decided routine and normalcy was about to take place in my life.
I don't want to forget the things God has taught me through the whirl-wind of crazy. I'm here to record what God is doing in my life and give you practical ways to keep God the center of your crazy, and your everyday.

I'm Sarah Mathews (one t). On this blog I'm going to share with you "whatever is lovely;" ideas to help keep God the center of your home and heart, through the holidays, big events and the everyday. I will share DIY projects, recipes and crafts with you along with general musings and glimpses of our journey in creating a gospel centered home.
I have briefly kept blogs previously the most successful and recent, the (re)education of the feminine soul petered off as I began work as a host mother to six girls in a group home, and then became even more neglected once I got engaged, ended my time at the group home, began my sixth year of teaching middle school and high school, moved, got married, became a wife and a step-mother to a five year old.
I'm going to be a little less ambitious with this blog, but just as honest, and hopefully more helpful. I spend tons of my (not-so) spare time looking up, researching and pinteresting ways to keep God the center of everything, and to make my home a haven, I figure someones got to write this stuff down and keep it all in one place!!!!!!
Well, I've made the executive decisions that I need to be the change I wish to see in the world.
